We are hosting our first Shooting Stars Basketball Camp in the borough in the Easter break from 13th to 16th April 2010 at Sydney Russell Leisure Centre for those aged between 7 and 12 years old. The camp is first and foremost geared at creating a safe and secure environment for kids to enjoy themselves with their peers. Following this there are a number of benifits including: confidence boosting, increased health, balance and coordination skills, social interaction and much more. We are proud to announce that in partnership with BADAWA Youth and Childcare we can now offer young people aged 16 years or above the opportunity to gain coaching qualifications free of charge. You will be required to volunteer and assist an experienced coach for at least 8 sessions.
